Don't be Afraid to Get Involved!

613 Mitzvot Corps

"A Group with a Goal of Helping the World"... Join the group that helps Jews all over the world, from India to Israel, Poland to South America, and more.  Receive the SATO Newsletter which informs you about, and give you ideas in the areas of Tikun Olam, G'milut Hassidim, and Social Action.  You will also learn about the most recent SATO activities across North America.  The cost to join is $6.13.  We also have special regional 613 events throughout the year.

He Chalutzim

"A Club about Israel"... Chalutzim(Pioneers) is the USY Israel interest group.  For only $10, any USYer can join and along with that get the Chalutzon, Chalutzim's newspaper; a membership card; and into any Chalutzim meetings throughout the year.  We also host special regional Chalutzim programs.

Heschel Honor Society

"A Club about Torah, Avodah, and Gemilut Hasadim"...The Abraham Joshua Heschel Society is a group of teenagers who are the core of USY.  USYers in the Heshel Society receive the Heschel newsletter, Bo'er Ba'esh, a special bronze pin only given to Heschel members, and Heschel members also get to participate in special activities open only to Heschel members.  To become a member, a USYer must show involvement in these three aspects of Jewish life: two hours of supervised Jewish study per week, congregational prayer at least four times a month, three of which should be on Shabbat, and once a month, a community service project.  We also host regional dinners and learn throughout the late fall and winter.
